The (Travel) Wonders of YouTube!

OK, so we’re not Rick Steves, or even Rick Shaw (yes, bad joke, we know; Simon used to write headlines for Sun Sport), but, like the famed American travel writer, we have our own YouTube channel, and we’re only 2.4million subscribers short of his Follower base.

Maybe not quite so impressive, then. But we do have reason to like our own content, especially when it comes to highlighting aspects of our Year On The Road RV adventure, which we celebrated the second year of completion for just a few months ago. Want to get a flavor of where we went and what we did? Then check out this link.

We’ve also updated it in recent months to cover things like the opening of the fab new Level 99 gaming center at Disney Springs and the thrilling upgrade of SeaWorld’s Expedition Odyssey ride, which gives it a really dynamic new aspect. We also posted multiple videos of last year’s media preview of the truly epic Epic Universe park of Universal Orlando, including this lofty viewpoint.

We will also be risking life and limb (well, waistlines at least) for this year’s annual edition of Magical Dining here in Orlando – which runs from August 14 to September 30 and offers some truly great tastes at more than 180 restaurants, all featuring a special cut-price prix fixe menu – and we’ll be sure to report back in video terms at some of the newest restaurants in the Magical program.

All this is a very long-winded way of saying (blatant plug alert!), if you haven’t yet discovered us on YouTube, then hop on over to our home page and Subscribe to be sure of some entertaining content. We’ll never catch up to the venerable Steves, but we like to think we’ll keep you informed and amused just the same.

Catch Our RV Journey on YouTube!

The journey itself might be over, and our “A Year On The Road” RV adventure is officially in the books, but you can still catch up with all the excitement and intrigue on our YouTube channel, which now has almost 100 snapshot videos of different aspects of the trip in the bag.

Javelinas! Jevelinas! Finally, we get to see Javelinas!

From Pictured Rocks National Seashore in Michigan to Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon, plus dozens of fascinating places and experiences in between, this is our chance to wow you with the visuals of this epic RV journey across 23 states.

Our latest contribution is all about those elusive Javelinas in Texas, but you’ll also find recent videos that highlight the vibrant Historic Market Square in San Antonio, Big Bend National Park and a stunning tequila sunset in New Mexico.
